Our work enables colleges and universities to prioritize, plan, and schedule building maintenance projects, and comply with government accounting rules regarding capital assets.

EMG has provided higher education clients, such as University of Virginia, George Mason University, and Baltimore City Community College, with extensive facility and building and environmental services including:

» Facility condition audit including custom database with report generation feature allowing officials to schedule maintenance and renewal projects according to need. The system feeds into the college’s financial statement software for GASB 34 compliance.
» Building condition audit including deficiency classification based on severity and impact on health, safety, and business processes. Immediate and five-year deficiencies were entered into a Web-enabled facilities database.
