Indoor Air Quality Testing

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) relates to both the purity (particulates, gases, chemical fumes) of the indoor air, as well as the comfort of occupants due to temperature and relative humidity. Indoor pollution sources that release gases or particles into the air are the primary cause of indoor air quality problems in facilities.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments serve the following purposes:

  • Indicate baseline value of indoor air quality
  • Identify problems caused by microbial contamination and recommendations of correct remedial action
  • Evaluate a building’s OSHA compliance
  • Identifies a need for mitigation of design and oversight
