PUBLIC AAI COMMENT—DEADLINE OF NOVEMBER 30, 2004

On August 26, 2004, the AAI committee published the final consensus draft rule, which is out to the public for comment. This ruling affects many industries including real estate, insurance, banking, credit, environmental consulting and state, local and tribal government. It is very important at this time to participate in providing comments on this ruling. The deadline for comment was November 30, 2004.

Many written comments have been recorded on the EDOCKET site; ranging from support and opposition of the proposed rule; and raising concerns regarding grandfathering; environmental professional definition and role; data gaps; and interviews.
